So I have been following the  news about the Friday The 13Th game coming this October and its starting to shape up. But today a new video was released showing Kane Hodder playing Jason! So here is a quick look you know I will keep you posted on this one!!

Kane Returns as Jason Voorhees! Go behind the scenes at Digital Domain on the set of the motion capture shoot for Friday the 13th: The Game to witness what it takes to build a title like this. The Friday the 13th team is excited to pull back the curtains and show off every phase of development that we can. See kills designed by Tom Savini being performed by Kane, including the infamous "Sleeping Bag Kill" from Part VII!

Did you hear that score by the way wow! We have been doing a lot of video gaming lately so I hope to write about them a little more this year. I can not believe that February is over already!!

The Monster Channel!

There baaaaaaack!! This could be the most exciting news in forever when it comes to classic horror! After a long (for me) 2 year hiatus the Monster Channel will be making its long-awaited return on more platforms than ever before.

From http://www.monsterchannel.tv/

"The Monster Channel debuted in March of 2010 as a 3-day online event celebrating “100 Years of Monster Movies”. We ran a marathon of horror films intercut with live introductions from horror hosts from all over the country, including cameos by Elvira, George Romero and Troma’s own Lloyd Kaufman.

"It was such a smash that we continued it as a double feature on Fridays called “Monstercasts”, until we launched The Monster Channel in January of 2011. The Monster Channel ran for two years before our tech partners decided to change industries in 2013, leaving us with no infrastructure to deliver our content.

"After two years of dormancy, we have finally linked with partners who are helping us not only with infrastructure but with expansion. The first incarnation of The Monster Channel was online only (meaning you could only watch us on your computer), but now we will be available on certain set-top-box TVs and select mobile/tablet devices, and more platforms are coming.''

The channel is available on computer, on mobile Apple devices and Roku. Ad supported, it is free.

Holly Hell did they say ROKU? Why do I need cable when I have Full Moon Streaming and soon The Monster Channel this is the best news since the Dough Boy put cinnamon rolls in a can!!

Now this is just a beta stage but you can check out the site to get a feel for the channel I loved it when they did the 3-day celebration 6 years ago I was glued to my computer. But that was just it I could not sit there and watch it on a then much smaller non-L.E.D. screen. So the fact that I will soon be able to watch on my Ipad and Roku is the best news.

As you can see from the schedule they are just working out the kinks showing a limited amount of shows. They do plan channels for the chrome cast and amazon fire as well.

Trust me I will keep you guys posted as more info comes out for the Monster Channel! In the meantime check out the site and spread the word.

Nero, the sheriff of a border town, heads for Mexico to settle an old score: as a boy, he has witnessed how his father was killed by a Mexican. In his quest for revenge, he is accompanied by his younger brother. The man they’re looking for has become a local tyrant, but the plot thickens when he turns out to be the younger brother’s father as well. While the younger brother is locked up by his father, Nero is escorted back to where he came from, but at the border, his escort is attacked by a lawyer-turned-revolutionary and his men, who are about to march against the oppressor ...

Wait the Italians made a spaghetti western in Italy about Mexico?  Oh hell yeah, time to grab a glass of White Zinfandel its pasta time!

It's my party and I will cry if I want to.

So I have been part of the House Party website for a few years now and decided to give it one more shot. Well, guess what I get to host an Oscar party. House Party will be sending out the box of goodies soon so watch this space for more. And I will be posting about the party when its over.

So that left me to wonder does the Oscars matter anymore? It seems every year it's more and more controversy that it seems to be worth. And the top movies are lame most of the time anyway. It seems anymore we tune in just to see what family movie wins.

I remember friends haveing big parties tons of food and drink and some years it was themed or we had to dress in a black tie. Being a movie buff, I find myself skipping out on the Oscars most years.

So who or what are you rooting for to win the big prizes? Do you want more info on House Party click on the link.

"WHERE'S THE BEEF?"

Sit down this is no time for Tetris and turn of the shiny new Michael Jackson Thriller CD and break out your crushed velvet warm up suit its time to fire up that new Mac hop on the Twitter and watch some great movies for this year 5 Annual F This Movie Fest!!

This is the greatest thing to happen to February since the Puppy Bowl when a group of movie fans just like you and me use the hashtag #Fthismoviefest and blow up twitter it is such a blast!

And with a killer line up including The Last Star Fighter, Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom, Night of the Comet, Streets of Fire, and the creme a la creme the king of 1984 Ghostbusters to finish out the night.

All you need to take part in this zany madness is simple first the movies. VHS, Laser Disk, DVD, Blu-Ray it does not matter even if you are streaming it! (I only have streets of fire on VHS so talk about a complete throwback) You will also need a twitter account so you can follow along. To put in your commentary, all you do is use the hashtag with your comments. That's it so simple and yet so much fun!! Last year we went on for what felt like an hour just talking about how hot Van Damme's mullet was in Hard Target.

Other things that will come in handy food, beer, popcorn of course but don't forget your Wham T-Shirt while spinning your Bruce Springsteen's Born In The USA record during the breaks. But for god's sake do not set your hair on fire while drinking Pepsi that has already been done in 1984!

I can not express how much fun this is and well worth the time and effort. If you do not have all the movies that's ok I have been know to skip a few from time to time as well. But we all own Ghostbusters so be sure to join in.

Check out the website F This Movie! for more information and a complete set of instructions.

I Have Gone Insane

Ok, so I did it I signed up once again for the A to Z challenge. I really enjoyed doing it last year and look forward to it again this year. A few ideas are swimming around in my head and I'm pretty sure we have to reveal our theme at the end of this month.

I also did something new this week I joined the bandwagon of Binge watching. Yeah, yeah I'm a few years behind on this kind of thing. But anyway it was for the show My Diet Is Better than Yours. Really does a TV show other than Baseball or Hockey catch my attention but I could not sleep and I was looking for something to bore me when I stumbled onto this. Unfortunately, it did the opposite keeping me awake as I breezed through the first 3 shows of a short 8 show season. The idea for the show is that star experts will coach overweight Americans on how to lose weight on their unique diet and fitness plans. Hosted by Shaun T, and featuring celebrity trainers including Abel James, Dawn Jackson Blatner, Carolyn Barnes, Jovanka Ciares, and Jay Cardiello. After falling in love with the cast, I truly could not get my house work done fast enough today! What a fun, fun show and it was helpful as I try to take back control of my health. Kind of slipped backwards this past holiday season. The show was streaming on the Roku Channel ABC but also found it on demand through our cable box. If you check it out let me know what you think.

Ok, gang I know still far behind on posting but just think you get a lot of me in April!
