Hell Comes To Haddonfield

Wow, October is almost over already!! How did this happen, and here I sit with the only goal I had was to watch H2O this year and write about it. Well, time has totally escaped me this countdown and it honestly has bummed me out this is my favorite time of the year!! Sadly I have to blame work but that is ok I did find a really cool video to share with you guys. Tim The Tracker is a YouTuber that I follow, The other day he posted a full walkthrough of the Halloween 2 haunted house. I have heard so many good things about this house that I was super happy to see this! So here you go folks...

Tim has also posted the other house's like Chainsaw Massacre and Freddy Vs Jason so head on over to his channel to check those out as well.

Halloween 2

Halloween 2 hailed by many as the best of the bunch. Also, I have found memories of watching this one Halloween night at a sleepover after a night filled with trick or treating! I also remember a few of those kids could not handle it.

I will admit it Halloween 2 is one of my favorites of the series as well. I think because the jump scares are in your face and the deaths are a little more creative. So if I could only watch one I would grab this one.

Spaghetti and Goolies!

They really need to make Sven's new song available for download! It's so ridiculously good! And here is a quick video of what I was doing all weekend! One of my favorite fundraisers for the school. It really does take us all weekend to cook!

Play-Doh Count Creepy Head

Sorry gang it has been an extremely busy work week and I have not had much time to write. And this weekend is going to be crazy busy. Not sure I have ever missed a Halloween Countdown post before. (Insert frown face here). In the mean time enjoy an old play-doh Halloween commercial.

He looks like a real bad Blade from Puppet Master.

Creepy with out the Clowns.

Ok kids while you are out and about reading all the other cool cats Countdown to Halloween blogs  make sure you leave this browser open as we I share with you and hour's worth of creepy music fun! Some totally great music here you could even use it for your hunt's this season.

Lets get Pyshco!

Ok, cord cutters let's look at some spooky treats on Crackle this month! Of course, Crackle is a free app on your phone, game systems (Xbox, Playstation) and set-top boxes like Roku or Amazon Fire.

Fist up we have some amazing sequels to watch starting with Fright Night 2 and Hellraiser 2 and those can be followed up with Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2! You can also tune into Pyshco, The Thing, Christine, Tales from the Hood and Insidious! And that is just naming a few to get your heart pumping on these cool crisp autumn days.

Of course, if TV is more your game there is some of that for you too! First up everyone's The Real Ghostbusters along with the anime Blade and Hellevator.

Not let's talk not so free TV and Hulu for just a moment...
Just added to the Channel was the much sought after Witch's Night Out!

A witch, disgruntled by the fact that no one takes Halloween seriously anymore, decides to stir things up and disrupt the social gathering in her old house as well as turn a couple of kids who love monsters into actual monsters.

This classic first aired on October 27th, 1978! This is a must watch for all Halloween fans so if you have Hulu pop up some corn and let me know what you thought. I will try to do a full review this week.

Until then enjoy some free (and not so free) Halloween entertainment. And while you are here make sure to check out the other bloggers dancing through the graveyards over at The Countdown to Halloween site.

Sovac soon learns of the duel personality and of half a million dollars the gangster has hidden away. A Killer Party You Won't Forget

I Was A Teenage Zombie
1987 | Color | 1 Hr 30 Minutes | Horror | R | Periclean

Director:
John Elias Michalakis

Writers:
James Aviles Martin
 Steve McKoy

Stars:
Michael Rubin
Steve McCoy
George Seminara

Six high school buddies accidentally kill a drug pusher and dump his body in toxic waters. When the pusher returns as a zombie and goes on a killing spree, their only recourse is to dump the body of one of their own recently dead, and have him return as a "good" zombie to face off with the "bad" one. The producer's hook for the film was to feature music by groups the likes of The Fleshtones and Los Lobos.  Source IMBD

After working on Toxic Avenger and Splatter University John Elias Michalakis steps up to the plate making his directorial debit with I was A Teenage Zombie and hits it out of the park. Taking what seems to be a good group of friends and a fun teenage romp mixing them together and getting one funny laid back movie. Using towns in his backyard of New York and New Jersey we get a nice blend of small town life with a big town flair.

Caramel Apple Oatmeal Cream Pies

Oh My GOSH!! Has anybody seen these Little Debbie Caramel Apple Oatmeal Creme Pies?? If you have did you pick them up like I did? From Outer Space They Came - Meteor Borne, Meteor Strange!

The Monolith Monsters
1957 | B&W | 1 Hr 17 Minutes | Sci-Fi,Horror | NR | Universal

Director: John Sherwood

Writers:
Norman Jolley
Robert M. Fresco
Stars:
Grant Williams
Lola Albright
Les Tremayne

A strange black meteor crashes near the town of San Angelo and litters the countryside with fragments. When a storm exposes these fragments to water, they grow into skyscraper-sized monoliths which then topple and shatter into thousands of pieces that grow into monoliths themselves and repeat the process. Any humans in the way are crushed or turned into human statues. The citizens of San Angelo desperately try to save themselves and the world from the spreading doom.

Wow, what an exciting way to kick off the Countdown to Halloween! I have never seen this movie so it's pretty cool to get something new. It must be something special as John Carpenter has this movie playing in "They Live", you can spot the scene showing the last attack of the monoliths on the TV in the homeless compound!

Tune in and comment below if you have ever seen Monolith Monsters or is Sven tonight will be your first time as well.
