The products at Shotwell's Grocery Store are made to believe a code that helps them live happy lives until it's time for them to leave the comfort of the supermarket and head for the great beyond. However, after a botched trip to the great beyond leaves one sausage named Frank and his companion Bun stranded, Frank goes to great lengths (pun intended) to return to his package and make another trip to the great beyond. But as Frank's journey takes him from one end of the supermarket to the other, Frank's quest to discover the truth about his existence as a sausage turns incredibly dark. Review

I should have known better watching a Seth Rogan Jonah Hill flick that it would just scream do not watch me! But I fell for it the beautiful colors talking food an all-star cast how could one go wrong? I get it, it is an adult cartoon and why not we all still watch the Simpson's and South Park and I still giggle watching those. And Rogan can be funny when he is paired up with some actors. In the end, this looked good so I watched it don't judge me.

The story idea is pretty good the groceries think they are headed to a happy place and have no clue what is going to happen to them. This is also the story of what happens behind closed doors like Toy Story but with food that parties smokes weed and well has sex. Greg Tiernan gets a nod for his directing its smooth and spotless and he really grabs the vision and runs with it. But, it should not surprise you  on how polished it looks his back round is Thomas the Train and a few Disney movies as well. Conrad Vernon has also brought us some classics with Shrek and one of my favorites Monsters Vs Aliens. The directing style is definitely the high point of the movie.

So lets talk about the story for just a bit, the movie quickly falls apart just like most of Rogan's other flicks so it was no surprise to see Kyle Hunter was the writer sadly he has given us The End and The Night Before which I started watching and I have turned it off twice now thinking it will get better. Maybe I will finish them just so I can complain ðŸ˜ƒ

Unless you are diehard James Franco and Seth Rogan fans you are not going to like this at all. You get the F word every 2 seconds and you get the feeling they want you to join them  smoking pot while watching this crap. Maybe that is the only way to watch this maybe I went all about this wrong! Yeah well, that is not going to happen. According to Seth Rogen, the film was intended to be made as inexpensively as possible and the CGI was not supposed to look polished. But Seth that is the best part of this movie so unless you are in High School or you are a stoner I have to say skip it!

This movie gave me heartburn

If it is already ready to be posted, you still can send us a link right now.
