Synopsis:
The legendary Ravenwolf Towers, once home to Hollywood’s Elite has fallen on hard times.

Now the latest Assistant Manager is discovering the Hotel's terrifying secrets; secrets that hide in the shadows of its dark corridors and lurk behind its locked doors--Mad Doctors, Degenerate Monstrosities, Inbred Horrors, Terrified Guests who disappear without a trace -- and an Alluring Damsel in Distress – why may just be the most terrifying resident of -- the Ravenwolf Towers.

EPISODE 1: BAD MARY - Young Jake has just acquired a new job as the ‘assistant manager’ at the sinister RAVENWOLF TOWERS. He quickly finds himself facing an assortment of strange residents – a diminutive Vampire Hunter, a Mad Doctor with lethal secrets and a beautifully seductive Maiden – who may just be the Ravenwolf’s most lethal occupant.

Finally, something from Full Moon to truly get excited about! Ravenwolf Towers has serious potential that I hope Charles Band can keep it going this strong through the seven episodes that are on the schedule.

After the success of Trophy Heads Band jumps back to the studio for another episodic tale. This time dealing with a bit of Sci-Fi and a creepy atmosphere that seems to be right up fan's alley. It's only episode one and he is already dragging you deep into his vision. The set looks great and pop's off the screen when it needs to and grows dark in all the right places. You get drawn in within the first few minutes of this flick!

Not only does the setting suck you in but Band hits a home run with his misfit cast once again. Leading the creep factor has to be Maria Olsen. As if she was not creepy enough in Trophy Heads she will have you guessing your sanity in this one. I'm not sure what it is about her but wow she is top of the line creepy! We also get introduced to Evan Henderson who plays the assistant Manager something about his acting style drew me to his character. He is dull yet full of life (?) you can see the potential as he grows into this role!

We are also treated to Tom Devlin's 1313 FX studio doing the special effects. I really like Devlin's work and it shines well in Ravenwolf. In fact, we get something in a Full Moon feature that has been kind of absent lately and that would be bloody gore! And we get to see that in the first few minutes! He also brings to the show some pretty cool gadgets to go along with his makeup.

Also returning is younger brother Richard Band with yet another awesome score! When the credits first hit the screen I was in awe with the great sound's coming out of the speakers! And as the show went on the creepy sounds and score really brings you into the mix. This will be a must-buy soundtrack when or if it gets a proper release.

Full Moon Features

With a fantastic setting interesting storyline, a good looking cast to go along with some good special effects Ravenwolf Towers is defiantly worth looking into. The first episode hits on all cylinders sucking you into this strange world. I look forward to the second episode coming soon I just hope it holds up. We have so much to learn about this funhouse of a hotel.

Ravenwolf Towers you got me...

With many people fearing the actions of superheroes, the government decides to push for the Hero Registration Act, a law that limits a hero's actions. This results in a division in The Avengers. Iron Man stands with this Act, claiming that their actions must be kept in check otherwise cities will continue to be destroyed, but Captain America feels that saving the world is daring enough and that they cannot rely on the government to protect the world. This escalates into an all-out war between Team Iron Man (Iron Man, Black Panther, Vision, Black Widow, War Machine, and Spider-Man) and Team Captain America (Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, and Ant Man) while a new villain emerges.

WoT Toy Tank Mode

Boy, nothing like an old man getting excited about playing with tanks on Christmas. If you have been reading my blog lately you know how addicted to World Of Tanks I have become. Even my wife is starting to get sick of it but that's ok she will live.

As fun as it looks driving around in a plastic Tank got old really fast. In fact, I could only play for a short time before just shutting down the Christmas tree and fired up the big tanks. You only get to play one map and it is pretty small and not giving you a lot of room to hide out. It is also cute when you blow somebody up and the top pop's off but that is about it. I played maybe thirty minutes and had fun with it. I'm sure I will dive into this again when it rolls around for next year.

Toy Tanks I give you...

Ten years have passed since the death of millionaire, Cyrus Norman. Cosby, Cyrus' attorney, has gathered Cyrus' 6 remaining relatives to his New Orleans' mansion for Cyrus' "reading of the will". To the disappointment of the others, Joyce is the sole heir, but, due to a streak of insanity running in the family, a second will has been made in case Joyce falls victim to it. This puts Joyce in danger. Suddenly, Miss Lu, Cyrus' maid, appears and warns them that the spirits have told her that one of them will die that night. Following this, Hendrick, a prison guard, warns them that, "The Cat", a homicidal maniac has escaped. This sets up Cyrus' relatives with a night filled with murders, mysteries, and intrigue.

This movie is a complete blast to watch! Solid story great cast and some truly creepy locations so before you head out to midnight mass make sure to tune into Sven for some not so much Christmas cheer.

My Top 5 Christmas Specials

Even with my girls getting older we still find time to sit and watch Christmas Specials together. I have a handful that I just have to watch every year so I thought why not rank them in order of must see! Now there will be no Rankin-Bass on this list and that does not say that we do not love them and we do watch most of them every year this is just a list of "I must see these or it's just not Christmas to me" specials.

Number 5

Prep and Landing will be the newest special on the list coming out in 2009. Wayne gets a new rookie partner, Lanny, after his previous partner got the promotion he wanted. Lanny has to remind Wayne of the Spirit of Christmas and the importance of being an elf in Santa's Prep and Landing elite unit. We just love watching this one and it is one that we do not have on DVD so we always have to watch for it to be on. Full of Disney cheer this special is sure to warm your heart and put you into the holiday spirit. The did make a second one that falls a little flat still worth watching but in this household, we feel ok with skipping it as well.

#OCanadaBlogathon

Ok signed up for the O Canada Blogathon in February. Wiki claims that the 1990 Captian America has ties to the Great White North so I picked that one. I have been looking for a reason to watch it as I have it on both VHS and DVD.

If you would like to head over to the official site to sign up for your blog click here!

I wanted Stange Brew one of my all time favorite movies so I'm looking forward to reading that blog along with The Fly, Scanners and Canadian Official War Films (First World War) just to name a few.

The Reign OF Me

So Xbox just emailed me my crest and game stats for the past year. It's pretty cool I'm definitely a casual gamer. And as far as my most played game Roblox that is my girls I'm not sure I have ever played it, to be honest. For me it has to be World of Tanks just can not put it down. Sure I stink at it but still a great time waster that allows me to relax.

I never worry about my gamescore when I still play a kick ass Pac-Man.

Xbox really needs to get off thier ass and give us a good Baseball game again this year I will be playing an old MLB game! I bought RBI just a few weeks ago and it sucks so bad. But I will stick with it for a bit more but I'm not holding my breath.

Achievements are what the Xbox community is all about and I still lag behind. I don't play a game just to unlock something. All though I do get a kick out of them and I have found myself going back once and a while to unlock something new. My view on this might change this year we will see.

That is pretty funny that I have only spent 6 more hours on Xbox live this year compared to last. As you can see I'm really just a casual gamer. I love to throw a game on to relax so I play a lot of sport games and RTS games like Tropico.  So there you have I think I will do a best of Xbox 2016 post in the next few weeks.

Zombie Yule Log

Warm up the Roku as a new Creepmas channel has landed.  Zombie Yule Log is not your traditional Yule Log. This yule log features zombies, fire, machine guns, explosions, and kids roasting marshmallows over a burning skull in a garbage can - and that's only the first 2 minutes of the nearly hour-long video. Fast forwarding through the video yields a more traditional scenario - at least there is Christmas music playing while a skull burns in a trash can, planes drop bombs and zombies shuffle by. The video lasts for nearly an hour and is a mix of live action and animation while a Christmas music plays with sirens and detonating bombs sounding in the background.

IF you do not have a Roku you can still enjoy it over on YouTube! Ahhhh I feel warmer already.

Consequently, the cave-women are menaced by the heartbroken and bloodthirsty cave-brute with a grudge, and the prophetess among them is ignored when she predicts the tragic outcome.

At the young age of 17, Kansas Bowling took her love for horror films, a low-end 16mm camera and set off to direct her first flick. Troma was quick to pick this up for distribution as Bowling had all the buzz in many of the horror driven message boards. I remember hearing about B.C. Butcher on the Shock Waves podcast and have been dying to see it ever since. So how did she do? Read on my followers read on....

Melancholy Fantastic

A strange and gripping holiday tale of grief, love, and the horrors of loneliness.

The Melancholy Fantastic is a upcoming American independent film written and directed by A.D. Calvo. Still suffering from her mother's recent suicide, a delusional young girl falls for an alluring Goth, against the objections of a life-size talking doll. The Melancholy Fantastic is a psychological thriller set during the holidays. The film takes place during the Christmas holiday and weaves various existential themes into the story. The title of the screenplay was inspired by Søren Kierkegaard's The Sickness Unto Death. In the film, one of the central characters, a Danish Goth named Dukken, paraphrases from Søren Kierkegaard's book and Friedrich Nietzsche's Parable of the Madman. Central elements of the narrative also involve the opening and closing text from Albert Camus' The Stranger (novel). The film features a life-size talking muslin doll named Mor and was filmed in Wallingford, Connecticut and Monroe, Connecticut. The Melancholy Fantastic features an original end credit song called Envy by Digital Daggers.

According to the Roku channel OV Guide, this is currently available for free to watch! I just added the channel so if it is there I will be sure to let you know soon. I need to find this movie looks so f'n good. Here is the trailer just to prove it!!
