After their latest heist goes wrong legendary outlaw couple Bonnie & Clyde are on the run from the law and in need of fast money to fix up their companion who was shot during the robbery. Finding shelter in a small town they crash at the mansion of the notorious Dr. Loveless. When Bonnie & Clyde arrive at the Doctor’s mansion they discover he has a secret. Deep in his cellar, the recently revived Dracula awaits…and when gangsters meet vampires, there’s bloody hell to pay.

Although low on gore and Vampires Timothy Friend weaves a fun story of bad guys taking on bad guys. We basically have two totally separate stories here that don’t intertwine until the last act but when they finally do meet we are treated to a beautiful ending that wraps up this odd story. But first, we have Bonnie & Clyde on the road after a botched robbery. With very few options, they decide to head to Clyde’s friend Henry’s place that’s in the middle of nowhere.  A desperate Clyde conspires with his dimwitted buddy Henry to rob a local moonshiner and his big city customer at the same time. When one of their crew gets shot during the robbery, Bonnie goes off to get help but ends up at the mansion of Dr. Loveless who just happens to have a Vampire he has resurrected from the dead.

Honestly, this movie was a ton of fun looks fabulous and did a great job making a period piece look authentic. Filmed in St. Joesphs Missouri it made for a perfect backdrop for this story. The pace and editing on BCvD really keeping you tuned in as we turn every corner. The soundtrack although not much at times fill's in the scenes nicely when needed. And when I say a beautiful ending most of that comes from the director of photography and how the music was dropped in. I don't want to give anything away but during one of the final moments the character Annabel makes her way in slow-mo through a hoard of vampires and was done so well I forgot about any negative feeling I may have had and watch in awe, the moment was filmed perfectly.

Ok, lets talk for a sec, can we? I have never been a Tiffany Shepis fan, in fact, her early work with Troma drove me nuts but she is America's scream queen and I have just let that be. In BCvD she is fantastic! From the bottom of my heart, I loved this woman as Bonnie she totally rocked her role and her leading man Trent Haaga who I think is the king of the B movies and does not get enough respect make this movie per cinema gold! They are so electrifying on screen together that you just can't wait for the story to focus back on them.

Being a low budget flick fans already know not to expect much on the lines of gore but Dr. Loveless has a nice creep factor and the directors brother Russel who played the Vampire where very conceiving in their makeup. Also with a small part was Jennifer Friend who has a Ph.D. in teaching plays Loveless's sister and was amazing as the childlike adult she really steals the show at the end in so many ways.

In the end, you really are treated to a different story excellent camera work a fantastic cast even with its low budget this movie really works!
